Join facilitators David McMeekin (Curtin Academic) and Richard Giles (Venture Mentor and Founder) as they explore Generative AI, featuring a live GenAI debate, information on AI resources and use cases for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

WED25 Battle of the GenAI (student-led event)

Explore the role of AI in entrepreneurship and our day to day lives in this entertaining and interactive session. Featuring a student-led AI showdown: three Curtin students each champion a different generative AI tool (ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude) in a live challenge using audience-led prompts.

Recipe For Success: From Curtin to Canva to Clove

Anna Guerrero’s career journey, from being one of Canva’s first hires to co-founding AI startup, Clove, is inspirational for budding Curtin Entrepreneurs. This candid fireside chat will explore Anna’s journey from Curtin student to building her dream career, the skills and mindset that made her a great hire, lessons she learned from working in a high-growth environment and how she utilised those learnings when starting her own company.
